Director's Statement
Reverie is a exploration into how unexplainable emotional experiences are just as real as anything else. Our production team was inspired by the visual language of European new wave films and '80s sci-fi, along with stories from ancient Greece and of christian mystics such as Hildegard Von Bingen who wrote about experiences of "divine connection." With this in mind, we wrote Reverie based on modern experiences from abductees who have reported having similar loving connections with alien entities. The message we hope to spread is one of the transcendent power of love.
